Ingredients

  • 1 red onion, minced
  • 1 cup flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Place all topping ingredients, except tahini, pine nuts, and lemon juice, in a large bowl. Mix well with your hands and refrigerate.

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line two large baking trays with baking paper.

Spread 1/2 tablespoon tahini onto each pizza base (see Lahmacun Dough recipe). Divide the beef topping between the bases, spreading it lightly and evenly so it covers the whole base. Scatter the pine nuts on top and place in the oven for 12 minutes, or until just cooked.

Remove from the oven, spoon the Lahmacun Salad Topping on top, and finish with a drizzle of lemon juice.
