  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 C oats

Directions

Mise en place

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper or spread a thin layer of olive oil.
  • Peel the banana.
  • In a bowl, mash the banana.

Combine ingredients

  • Mix mashed together with the oil, honey, and cinnamon.
  • Stir in the oats until everything is well combined.

Bake granola

  • Spread the granola mixture out on the baking sheet.
  • Make sure the mixture spreads thin and evenly, otherwise some of it will burn (use multiple baking sheets if necessary).
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until mixture starts to turn golden brown.
  • Allow to cook until granola hardens (it will take longer if you baked it in a thicker layer).

Serve

  • To cool quickly, place the baking sheet in the fridge or freezer.
