Greek Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced (approximately 1 tablespoon)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 -inch strips

Directions

Preheat oven to 450ºF

Mix the garlic, oregano, lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper together.

Toss the chicken in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes up to 4 hours maximum.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 12-18 minutes or until no longer pink in the middle, internal temperature of 165ºF.

Use the chicken hot or cold.
