Cranberry Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 orange, peeled and finely diced
  • 12 ounces cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves, ground

Directions

Bring water, sugar, apple, and orange to a boil using medium heat in a saucepan.

Add remaining ingredients; return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the apples are tender.

Cool to room temperature and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend.

Best if served at room temperature. Enjoy!
