Baked Maduros

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2-3 ripe plantains
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t vanilla, optional

Directions

Mise En Place

  • Wash and dry produce
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prep the baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Slice the plantains into 1-inch slices

Prepare Recipe

  • Layer plantains on the baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the slices with cinnamon.(if using)
  • Add vanilla.
  • Bake for 5-8 minutes or until slices begin to brown.

Serve:

  • Serve warm and enjoy!
