Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 3 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Combine rice and water in a heavy-bottomed pot.

Bring to a boil and add salt.

Reduce to a simmer and cover. Simmer for 35 minutes.

Turn heat off but keep covered and allow to sit for 15 minutes.

Fluff with a fork and serve.
