Ingredients

  • 6 C water
  • 1 1/2 C yellow cornmeal
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Measure out all ingredients

Prepare

  • Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan.
  • Gradually whisk in the cornmeal.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook until the mixture thickens and cornmeal is tender, stirring often, for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Salt to taste.

Serve

  • Serve and enjoy!
