Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram or oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat until hot.

Add all ingredients, cover, and bring to a boil.

Uncover and lower the heat. Allow simmering for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool before spreading on pizza dough.
