Pear Compote

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 pear

Directions

Mise En Place

  • Wash and Dry produce.
  • Thinly slice pears. Juice and zest the lemons.
  • Measure out ingredients
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Prepare Recipe

  • Place sliced pears, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, and cinnamon (if using) in a bowl and mix to combine.
  • Pour mixture on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until pears are soft and starting to caramelize or brown.

  • Serve and enjoy!
