Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 sprigs basil (or substitute thyme, mint, oregano, rosemary)
  • 1/2 medium cucumber (or use 1 t grated fresh ginger)
  • 1/2 pint strawberries (or use mango, pineapple, lemon, lime)

Directions

Mise En place:

  • Measure out 4 cups of water
  • Set aside 4 sprigs basil
  • Set aside cucumber and strawberries

Fill a pitcher with 4 cups of cold water.

Cut the fruit and vegetables in bite-size pieces.

Add the fruit and vegetables and whole sprigs of the herbs to the water.

Let it sit for up to 2 hours or serve immediately. Divide among four glasses.
