Ingredients

  • 1/2 red bell pepper, small dice
  • 1/2 onion, small dice
  • 11 ounces lean ground beef
  • 3/4 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat buns

Directions

In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion and red pepper.

Drain off liquids once meat is browned.

Stir in the mustard and ketchup. Mix until well combined.

Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve on whole wheat buns.
