Pear Compote

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place sliced pears, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix to combine.

Pour mixture on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake in oven for 10 minutes, or until pears are soft and starting to caramelize or brown.
