Courtney Treutelaar graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Philosophy, focusing in values and social policy. After college, Courtney attended Cook Street School of Fine Cooking, where she learned traditional French and Italian regional cooking. Before receiving her certification, she cooked in Paris, France and Asti, Italy. Courtney has always been dedicated to serving the youth in her community and believes in treating others with respect and dignity. So Common Threads embodies Courtney’s two main passions: world cooking and kids! Her favorite foods are soup, anything Italian, and anything chocolate!
