Bill is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a
B.S. in Healthcare Science. While in
school, he volunteered and taught children healthy habits through an
afterschool health promotions program. He enjoyed the process of enabling
children to take control of their health. During his summers, Bill worked in
the children’s programs department at East Bank Club. He enjoyed helping
children develop a sense of autonomy and self-confidence. Bill is very excited
to be here at Common Threads and believes that teaching children how to nurture
their bodies through healthy food options can provide them with great benefits
that can last a lifetime. He looks forward to developing and maintaining a
strong connection with our volunteers.
